Jon Boden

Sheffield resident Jon Boden is best known as lead singer and main arranger of the award winning folk big-band Bellowhead, who are touring nationally in November '22 to venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and (more importantly) Sheffield City Hall.

He has performed extensively in the field of traditional English folk song and music for over twenty years and has composed for theatre and concert including scores for the RSC, the Bristol Proms and, most recently, the Hallam Sinfonia. Archers fans may also be familiar with his arrangement of the theme tune "Barwick Green" which is used for the Sunday omnibus edition on Radio 4.
